Flip Flaps

According to Rich, I have flip flaps.

I did 15 minute intervals last night on the trainer and I was suffering after the first one and got through the second, albeit quite a bit slower than the first, at a lower wattage total.

Rich suggested that it is either a mental block on the trainer, or I have flip flaps. He says the second should be easier than the first. After giving it some thought, I think that I might not have the attention span for long intervals on the trainer. I can't remember to stare at the little liars box, so I keep slowing down and I miss my movie.

Intervals are a detriment to quality film viewing and should be banned under the first amendment as a barrier to free speech and cinematic expression.

I am starting a petition.

I believe it to be attention span disorder more than flip flaps.

I've tried a new tactic, but it met with mixed results. Instead of watching the usual fare of bike races or action movies, I switched to porn. Immediate effects were positive as I kept my eyes glued to the TV. However, there was a serious drop in "performance" as the blood was no longer pumping in the necessary muscles to pedal.

Next attempt may be a combination of porn and Teletubbies videos.

The Lion of Flanders would go out and attack the hell out of everyone, until they are all gone, then he would attack himself.
For your next ride - find the worst roads possible or a construction lot - ride there for 7 hours with the last 3 hours having plenty of attacks and over 300W ave for the last 3 hours. As for movies - you can watch whatever you choose after the ride is done.

Trent that tatic is nothing new for Dave he said he put hour in training, but not what he is training!
