Stop Sign Attacks!

One thing that I hate about group rides are stop sign attacks. Nothing is more annoying. Having known some people who have been hit by cars and received serious injuries or died, I have a huge problem with risking it all for the big stop sign move. Breaking away from a stop sign doesn't show us how strong you are, only that you are a dipshit.

On the club ride last night, I was privy to such an attack. I will leave the name of the attacker off of the blog, but it is a gay maneuver. It is about as cool as attacking the group right after a crash. Don't be a dork and use stop sign attacks as your tool to victory on the club ride, you aren't really winning anything, only losing others respect for you as a rider.

One of my all time favorite moves to counter a stop sign attack:
maker a left, take a new route home. We had that same issue in the past on occasion, nothing cures stop sign glory like changing the route and leaving that dipshit to ride alone.

I second that motion.

A training ride is a race and in a race stop signs are to be disgegared. Besides, all real racers are aware that in Europe stop signs are just a SUGGESTION. Besides, a former bike racer has superior bike handling skills than your average pathetic loser group rider. So, what you are is just jealous that you don't possess the skills package to leap between and over crossing traffic. Next thing you know you'll be establishing RULES for the RIDE and explaining that "I have a family to consider."
Why don't you just go get a man bra and ride around on a tri bike.
